Gopher Control 


  • Gopher Trapping Clean Out: A one-time service for thorough removal of gophers.
    • Set up Fee: $150 (includes up to 5 visits), $50 per gopher. 
  • Maintenance Gopher Control: Ongoing visits for effective long term management.
    • Frequency: Every 2 weeks or weekly for larger properties.
    • Cost: Varies by property size.
  • Teaching and Consultation: Personal and group sessions are available if you'd like to take matters into your own hands. I’ll teach you everything you need to know, including key gopher behaviors relevant to trapping, the right tools and techniques, do's and donts of habitat modification, and more.
    • Fee: $150 per hour (sessions typically last 1 to 1.5 hours).
​I only trap gophers and not moles, as moles are carnivores and don't harm plants.
Gopher trapping is limited to workable soils from mid to late summer through fall, since my 
trapping technique requires me to locate the main tunnels.  This means sandy and soft soils, or areas with irrigation.

Predation alone isn't fully effective for gopher control, but I find cats to be the best hunters, as they hunt for both sport and food. Here’s my cat, Butterfly, teaching me a few tricks.

Rat Control 

I provide professional outdoor rat control with a focus on sustainable and poison-free solutions. My system includes:
  • Inspection and Identification: Assessing your property to determine the extent of the issue and identifying rat species.
  • Trapping Cleanout: Effectively reducing rat populations using humane trapping methods.
  • Sanitization: Cleaning and addressing areas affected by rat activity, when needed.
  • Exclusion: Sealing entry points to prevent future infestations, when applicable. 
  • Habitat Modification: Adjusting the environment to make it less attractive to rats by removing food sources, nests, and hiding spots.
  • Maintenance Trapping: Ongoing trapping to keep rat populations under control.
  • Biannual Inspections: Regular property checks to ensure your space remains rodent-free.
